Something to think about if you get married in Salt Lake Temple? You might just be the game-winning number in somebody's game of Bride Bingo.
Church Office Building employees like to take their lunches outside on Fridays (the heaviest wedding day) and people-watch all the wedding parties. And yes, there is an actual game. It includes finding things like obscene numbers of bridesmaids, pick-the-terrible-color-of-the-week wedding colors, weird-colored tuxes, ridiculous shoes, etc.
I spotted a groom who looked like he was going to prom. Black shirt, red tie, grey-and-red Vans, and all.
And an extra bit of trivia for today's Gee Whiz Files: the highest number of brides married in the Salt Lake Temple in one day is about 120.
So Bride Bingo is not entirely impossible to win in one day.
