Peace

Peace is finding the answer that you didn't know you needed at the moment you need it most. And realizing that the answer is exactly what you need.

I'm grateful that the Lord gives us answers when we ask for help. It may not be what we thought we wanted, but it's always what we need. And I'm always surprised when a tiny sting of disappointment produces a feeling of overwhelming peace immediately afterward. That doesn't happen every time, but it did tonight.

I have been blessed in a million ways, with all the people and things that I need most.

Everything else is just icing on the triple-chocolate, extra-fudge, enough-sugar-to-send-you-straight-to-heaven cake.
